Embroidery

Frank Cox can embroider most of the items from our online brochure with your design, whether it’s a company logo, club badge, individual names or just text. Using modern computer controlled embroidery machines, we will add your design to the clothing of your choice to produce a high quality finish to the garment.

If you would like to see examples of some of the designs we have produced for customers please visit our ‘See Our Work’ page.

Embroidery Artwork:

The quality of your final embroidered logo will depend upon the quality of your original artwork.

If you are a company or a club and already have an established logo, a letterhead or compliment slip will be adequate for us to work from, but we would prefer a JPEG or EPS file with pantone colours if possible. All MAC artwork must be saved to a PC format.

You can post or email the artwork to us.

We may have to alter small parts of your logo (i.e. very fine details or little lettering) to enable the embroidery machines to achieve a high quality finish, if this is necessary we will produce a proof for your approval before commencing work on your order.

Sizing – For a left chest logo, most designs should fit within an area of 90mm x 90mm. For cap embroidery, your design must not be more than 60mm tall.

Embroidery Origination & Application:

Once we have your artwork, an embroidery disc can be produced. We charge out the cost of the disc, dependent upon the number of stitches required to embroider the design. The average disc will cost around £35.00 (ex vat) and each applied design around £1.75 (ex vat), a firm quotation will be supplied on request.

The cost of the disc is a one-off payment, all repeat orders will only attract the application charge. A sample of the embroidered design, for you to approve, can be posted or e-mailed prior to us embroidering the clothing.

If you have a large design we can provide you with an accurate costing on sight of your artwork

Monogram Embroidery:

We can embroider individual names onto the garments if you require at £2.00 (exc VAT) each.

The position of monogramming is usually below a left chest design, on the right chest or a sleeve. The size of the lettering will depend on the names involved but is usually set at 9mm high.
